About
My name is Benjamin Dafilou
With over 15 years of experience in emergency medical services, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to SCO for EMS. His career journey has taken him from the front lines as an Emergency Medical Technician to advanced roles as a Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic, Flight Paramedic, and Mobile Integrated Healthcare Provider, also known as a Community Paramedic.
Ben's hands-on clinical experience extends beyond the pre-hospital care environment to emergency rooms and intensive care units, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of patient care across various settings.
Beyond direct patient care, he has served as a sales representative for Medline Industries LP, where he worked with emergency medical services, emergency management divisions, prisons, and fire departments. During this time, he specialized in helping these organizations identify and implement cost-saving strategies commonly used in other sectors of healthcare.
Now, Ben is leveraging his unique insights and practical solutions to help organizations streamline their logistical operations, optimize resources, and save money. His mission is to empower your organization with the tools and strategies that deliver tangible results.

EMS runs on razor thin margins. This is a combination of poor reimbursement and requirements to maintain many seldom-used medications and supplies leading to significant added costs.
Most EMS consultants focus on increasing revenue and improving clinical care. However, they neglect to address significant costs associated on the back end as it relates to procurement. This is what SCO for EMS specializes in.
